BUSINESS COACH STRATEGY & WEBSITE DESIGN

Recently I wrapped up an exciting web design project for Tina Valor Coaching.

I developed a custom website for a business coach empowering female entrepreneurs. From the outset, my goal was to ensure that every element of the design—from the messaging to the visual identity—aligned with Tina’s unique Hero-Ruler brand archetype.

Understanding the Client’s Brand

The first step in any successful web design project is to fully understand the client’s brand, and with Tina Valor, this meant diving deep into her Hero-Ruler archetype.

Tina’s brand is all about empowering female entrepreneurs and guiding them to take bold action, while also being a strong, authoritative leader in her field. This combination of qualities needed to shine through in every aspect of the website, from the content to the visuals.

To ensure the design captured Tina’s essence, I focused on identifying her core values—empowerment, leadership, and action-oriented coaching. We discussed her strengths in operations and scaling business strategies, as well as her experience working with female-led startups.

Understanding these key elements was essential to crafting a website that reflected her personality and resonated with her target audience.

Throughout the discovery process, I asked strategic questions to uncover her vision and long-term goals. Brand questionnaire is great, and it gives a great starting point, but as a strategic web designer, you should ask questions from different angles to truly understand what the real task is.

  • How does she want her audience to feel when they interact with her brand?
  • What message does she want to convey through her services? What differentiates her coaching style from others in the industry?
  • These insights were crucial in shaping a design that not only looks professional but also communicates Tina’s unique strengths and purpose to her audience.

3. Tailoring the Messaging & Tone of Voice

Creating the right brand message for Tina was key to connecting with her target audience—female entrepreneurs in service-based businesses who are ready to scale.

During strategy session we created buyer personas – Tina’s ideal client avatars.

I crafted messaging that spoke directly to these women, focusing on empowerment, confidence, and taking decisive action. The goal was to position Tina as both a strategic mentor and a results-driven leader who helps her clients achieve growth with clarity and control.

The tone of voice was crafted to reflect Tina’s premium, action-oriented coaching services. It needed to be bold, empowering, and authoritative while still being approachable and motivating. Every word was chosen to communicate her expertise, inspire trust, and encourage potential clients to take the next step toward business growth.

One of the key highlights in the copy is the statement: “Transform your business with confidence and clarity.” This line encapsulates Tina’s approach—focused, empowering, and results-oriented. Similarly, in her VIP Scale-Up Day offer, we emphasized “One day. One plan. Full transformation,” underscoring the actionable, high-impact results that clients can expect from working with her.

Developing the Visual Identity

When developing Tina’s visual identity, my goal was to strike a balance between strength and approachability. As a business coach with a powerful presence, her brand needed to exude authority and leadership while still being inviting to female entrepreneurs. Every design decision was made with intention, ensuring that the visuals reflected her strong yet supportive coaching style.

I opted for a minimalist design to keep the focus on Tina’s message and premium services. Clean lines, ample white space, and a sleek layout allowed her content to shine.

For the color palette, I chose bold, sophisticated tones—black and off-white, with subtle accents—to convey professionalism and elegance. The typography was selected to complement this, with strong, modern fonts that reinforce her position as a confident leader and serif fonts with italics to instill femininity and approachability.

The visual identity was carefully crafted to reflect Tina’s Hero-Ruler archetype. The minimalism and structure emphasize her leadership and control, while the approachable elements communicate her empowering, action-oriented coaching style. This balance ensures that Tina’s brand feels both authoritative and accessible, resonating deeply with her target audience.

Tailored User Experience

Designing a user-friendly layout was essential to guiding visitors through Tina’s coaching services seamlessly. The structure needed to make it easy for potential clients to understand her offerings and quickly take action. I focused on creating an intuitive flow that naturally led users from learning about Tina’s services to booking a consultation or VIP day, ensuring the process felt effortless and engaging.

Key UX decisions included a responsive design that adapts flawlessly to any device, providing a consistent experience whether visitors are on desktop, tablet, or mobile. I also implemented intuitive navigation with a clean menu structure, allowing users to find the information they need without confusion. Clear calls-to-action (CTAs), such as “Book a Call” and “Learn more,” were strategically placed throughout the site to guide users to the next step.

We also offered a super helpful guide to her potential clients to download for free. This will help Tina grow her Email list.

The Strategic Process: From Concept to Completion

Every web design project I take on follows a strategic process, ensuring each decision is aligned with the client’s brand and business goals. For Tina Valor Coaching, the process began with the Discovery Phase, where I conducted thorough research into her brand, audience, and competitors. Through in-depth discussions and brand analysis, I gained a clear understanding of her vision, allowing me to craft a design strategy tailored to her Hero-Ruler archetype and target audience.

Next came the Design Phase, where I translated the strategy into visuals. I created wireframes to establish the structure and flow of the site, ensuring everything was laid out intuitively. From there, I developed a prototype that incorporated the bold, minimalist visual identity we had defined—ready for Tina’s feedback and adjustments.

In the Development Phase, I built the site on Framer and optimized it for responsiveness and performance. I conducted extensive testing to ensure that the site worked flawlessly across all devices and browsers, making final adjustments to ensure both form and function were perfect.

Throughout the project, collaboration and feedback were key. I maintained open communication with Tina, gathering her insights at every stage to refine the design and ensure it fully aligned with her brand and goals. This strategic, collaborative approach guaranteed that the final product not only met but exceeded expectations.

Results & Client Impact

The final design perfectly aligns with Tina’s brand and business goals, reflecting her Hero-Ruler archetype and positioning her as an empowering, action-oriented coach for female entrepreneurs. The bold, minimalist design enhances her brand presence, while the carefully crafted messaging ensures her voice and vision are clear and compelling. Every element, from the visual identity to the user experience, was designed to attract her target audience and drive conversions.

Since the website launch, Tina has seen an immediate impact—stronger brand visibility, clearer messaging, and improved client engagement. Visitors are now able to easily navigate through her services, understand the value she offers, and take action by booking consultations or VIP days. The site’s intuitive flow and responsive design have created a seamless experience across devices, ensuring Tina’s premium services are always within reach.
