HOW TO GET RID OF ANNOYING CLIENTS FOR GOOD

If you are a business coach, a mentor, or a service provider constantly annoyed with your clients, the reason can be your brand positioning.

If you are a no-BS go-getter action-oriented personality but your IG feed or your website is all in pastel colors filled with inspirational quotes to soothe your audience and make them feel good about themselves instead of ACTUALLY putting in the work and getting shit done….

Now, guess what type of clients you are going to attract.

Yes.

Exactly.

Those who are 180 degrees opposite to what you’ve got to offer.

Now, after reading this post, don’t just go ahead and update your colors.

Why?

Because you need a strategy in place first.

If you can’t hire a web & brand designer specializing in strategic design, start with the following:

STEP 1: Understand your archetype

What you value. Where your strengths are.

Read more about Brand Archetypes and connect the dots.

STEP 2: what is the archetype of your ideal client?

Do they need to have the same features as you? Or complementary?

STEP 3: Develop messaging aligned with your core values and inherent archetype or combination of archetypes

Are you the Sage with an irresistible passion for learning, digesting, simplifying, sharing wisdom, and inspiring growth?

Are you a Hero who is all about courage, taking risks, taking action, and inspiring others?

Align your messaging with who YOU ARE and you will attract those who TRULY RESONATE.

Final thoughts

Do NOT fake it to align with those whom you think you want to work with.

For example: if you are an architect and you have heard that high-end design services are a status symbol you might assume, the type of clients you want to attract goes under the Ruler archetype – they are all about dominance, authority, status, order, and taking charge.

So you create your brand identity, messaging, and visuals aligned with what YOU THINK the Ruler archetype might like.

But the truth is that you are a solid Everyman.

Your personality is as close to that archetype as it can get (hypothetically).

Here you are again…

…in the same place where we started:

annoyed with your clients…

…and them being annoyed with you.
